Exhibition in the European Parliament

“Podlaskie’s turn” exhibition will be opened on 6th June at 6 p.m. in the premises of European Parliament in Brussels. The exhibition will present the unique nature of Podlaskie region and its multicultural structure of society. The exhibition will inaugurate information and promotional campaign of Podlskie Voivodship that will last for four days.




The exhibition will be ceremonially opened by Polish Deputy to the European Parliament, Barbara Kudrycka and Marshall of Podlaskie Voivodship, Janusz Krzyżewski. Unique, untouched by people natural environment as well as tourist potential of Narwiański, Białowieski, Biebrzański and Wiegierski National Parks will be presented.

The treasures of Podlaskie environment, its nature and life will be the topic of the exhibition. One will be able to see the pictures of Białowieża Primeval Forest and the king of animals – Bison. Tourist potential such as hotels, boarding houses, farm tourism; active forms of leisure such as bicycle routes, horse tourism, canoeing  will be displayed. It will be possible to admire not only Wołkow’s art photographs and Tarasewicz’s paintings, but also animal’s models in their natural size – bison, lynx, wolf, and hummingbird. Exhibits were lent from Białowieża National Park.

This exhibition will be opened during the whole campaign (7, 8, 9 June, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and it will be glamorized by many presentations. At the same time there will be daily TVP 3  Białystok films presentation, that will show the connection between podlaskie nature and man, “ Biebrza Valley”, “Bison in the pen”, “ What peeps in the forest”, “Virgin Biebrza”, (films by Jerzy Kalina, Beata Hyży-Czołpińska, Joanna Cieślik and Joanna Gaweł). Radio commercials, which were prepared by Białystok Polish Radio and Wigierski National Park, will be also presented. Moreover, during the exhibition (6-9 June) it will be possible to visit the promotional stands in the building of European Parliament.
