Podlaskie region is a meeting place of many cultures. For centuries people of different nationalities such as Poles, Belorussians, Tatars, Jews and Lithuanians lived here side by side in peace and friendship. Here, in Podlasie, the European Union begins!

The number of tourists visiting our region grows steadily each year. Its natural values, beauty and variety give the opportunity for active rest – it’s possible for example due to well prepared bicycle lanes.

This is an advantage of the region that gives the opportunity for development. Living standards and infrastructure is built up and the industry develops thanks to European Funds.
