National parks
National park includes a protected area, no less than 1000 hectares, standing out with special scientific, natural, social, cultural and educational values, where the whole nature and distinctive features of scenery are protected.
A superior aim of the national park is getting know and preserving all natural systems of particular territory, along with conditions of their functioning, as well as reconstruction of distorted and extinct links of native nature. Every action undertaken on the territory of the national park is entirely subordinated to the protection of nature and has priority over all other actions.
The national park is available to society on terms defined in a plan of protection binding for 20 years.
For accessing or using values, devices and objects of the national park, charges may be collected. Rates are set by a director of the park. Payments are donated to tourist and educational infrastructure of the national park and to wide range of other tasks connected with the protection of natural environment.
Creating, enlarging, reducing or liquidation of the national park is possible only in co-ordination with proper local authorities, on which territories’ changes are considered, as well as after approval of non-governmental organizations.
Changes in a way of using lands or real estates situated in the boundaries of the national park require an approval of the director of the national park.
